NBC Executive Director

Joe C. Robinson

Joe Robinson has a diversified background.  His educational and professional experience includes twenty-four years in the military, a degree in Business Administration, government procurement, contract management, numerous technical and engineering administration assignments and a strong background in public speaking.  A proven record of excellence in developing and implemented business strategies to maximize resources.  Work in collaboration with Not-for-Profit organizations and governmental agencies throughout the county on program initiatives to serve residents of Brevard County in workforce development.

NBC Program Manager

Nancy Palmer

Nancy Palmer has been supervising all facets of NBC operations since 1998.  She provides strong leadership and direction for the employees and volunteers.  Nancy monitors all programs, contracts, and funding.  She is the direct liaison with Department of Children and Families contract manager, Federal Emergency Management contracts, City of Titusville, and Brevard County.  She coordinates the schedule and maintenance of the properties.  She is a wonderful resource in this community.

NBC Warehouse Coordinator 

Karen Mish

Karen Mish has been supervising all aspects of the NBC thrift store for the past several years.  She supervises a staff and volunteer core of up to 20 people.  She is integral in generating ten of thousands of dollars each year in unrestricted revenue.

Maribeth Carson: Family Resource Coordinator

Maribeth Carson is the newest member of the NBC team.  She has a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice.  She is working within the Up to Present (UTP) Program and facilitating publicity and fundraising for NBC.

Ashley Hill: Data Resource Specialist

Ashley Hill has been with NBC since 2004.  Ashley compiles all the data of NBC for the METSYS system.  This network allows agencies to review services provided to families in the past.  She also assists with placement of families in emergency and transitional housing.

Linda Lee:  Bookkeeper

Linda Lee has been with NBC since 2004.  She monitors all contracts in coordination with Nancy Palmer.  She ensures appropriate allocation of funds and provides timely payment to local venders and landlords whose families receive emergency financial assistance. 

Pam Ortiz: Client Services Specialist

Pam Ortiz recently returned to working for NBC.  She has been a valued employee with NBC for over 4 years.  She provides compassionate and comprehensive services to families in need.  She completes the assessments for financial assistance, food, and clothing.
